Interested? A position has become available within the Operations Division based within the Building Solutions team for an Asbestos Operative.

A vital part of this service is the safe removal of both licenced and non-licenced Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) to properties managed by us and our external clients.

Applicants should be experienced in all aspects of licenced and non-licenced asbestos removal, encapsulation, make safe works and any other associated works in City of Wolverhampton owned domestic and non-domestic properties, private properties and properties managed by other landlords. When undertaking this work, the successful candidate should be committed to providing excellent customer service. 

Applicants must hold the qualifications shown below and be able to demonstrate experience in these areas.

The successful candidate must hold qualifications as follows:

  • Current Asbestos Removal Operative qualification,
  • Current experience working within a quality asbestos removal environment,
  • CSCS.

Other qualification that would be an advantage include:

  • Confined spaces,
  • PASMA,
  • First Aid at Work.
